What’s Next for PATHR?
Launching PATHR was only the beginning.
We’re already working on PATHR 1.2.0, with improvements focused on better marine data, clearer conditions, stronger community features, and a faster overall experience.
More Detailed Bathymetric Data
We’re working to incorporate available hydrographic survey data from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to improve depth information across supported waterways.
This will be especially valuable in rivers, channels, harbours, and inland waterways where detailed bathymetric coverage can be limited. Better data will also help us continue improving PATHR’s smart-routing capabilities.
Improved Weather Overlays
We’re upgrading our weather overlays to make conditions easier to understand while planning a trip or navigating on the water.
Our goal is to surface the information boaters need most while keeping the map clean, clear, and easy to use.
Satellite Map Layers
A satellite map layer is also in development, providing additional real-world context around shorelines, marinas, anchorages, channels, and unfamiliar destinations.
Satellite imagery will complement PATHR’s existing marine chart experience and give boaters another useful way to explore the water ahead.
More Ways to Connect
Boating is better when it’s shared.
We’re continuing to expand PATHR’s social features, making it easier to share trips, discover new places, and connect with other boaters.
Performance and App Optimizations
PATHR 1.2.0 will also include performance improvements, interface refinements, bug fixes, and optimizations across the app.
We’re focused on making PATHR faster, smoother, and more reliable with every release.
Help Shape What Comes Next
We’re building PATHR around the needs of real boaters.
Is there a feature you’d like to see? Is there something we could improve? Reach out and tell us what would make PATHR more useful for you on the water.
Your feedback directly helps shape what we build next.
