Pathr Navigation is live on iOS today. The modern boating app for owners who actually use their boats. Auto-routing tuned to the vessel, real-time weather and AIS traffic, and anchor charts that show what’s on the bottom. All offline.
And next, Pathr Co-Captain: an AI working partner trained on your boat, your routes, and the conditions on the water.

I’ve been sailing since I was a kid. I’ve also spent my career as a flight test engineer on safety-critical autonomous systems. We built Pathr because the boating app I wanted didn’t exist. I test it on my own Catalina 38 every weekend I can.
Most boat owners aren't professional captains. They juggle weather sites, paper notes, outdated chartplotters, and four or five phone apps to plan a single weekend, hoping the pieces add up to the kind of situational awareness a seasoned skipper builds over decades.
Pathr closes that gap. Modern data, real-time AIS, a proper anchor layer, and a real app, all on the device you already carry. Built by people who actually sail.
Routing, traffic awareness, weather overlays, and harbor intelligence, all in one modern app.
Pathr Co-Captain is the AI co-pilot built into Pathr. It briefs your trips, watches the things you can't, and learns your boat.
Professional-grade navigation without forcing anyone to replace gear they already trust.
A modern boating app, built around an intelligent co-pilot instead of a 1990s chartplotter.
Plan and navigate from your phone or tablet, the way modern pilots do, without getting trapped in a closed ecosystem.
Pathr Co-Captain, an AI co-pilot built into the app that briefs your trips, watches your blind side underway, and learns your boat.
From single-handers to couples cruising offshore. Designed for how boats are actually sailed, not how manuals describe them.
Share routes, discover harbors, learn from others. Navigation becomes a connected experience instead of a solo chore.
Plain, confident tools that reduce workload underway, without forcing new hardware.
Route planning that feels modern, clear, and fast. Built to reduce workload, not add it.
Wind, wave, and current overlays designed for confident decisions underway.
Download charts and essential data before you depart. Signal isn't a plan.
Pathr Co-Captain is an AI co-pilot built into the Pathr Navigation app. It rides with you on the dock, underway, and back at the slip, and gives you the kind of grounded, no-nonsense advice you'd want from a sharp first mate who knows your boat as well as you do.
Co-pilot, not autopilot. You're still the captain.
"Wind looks 10–14 from the WNW most of Saturday. Your Beneteau has handled this profile fine on the last three runs — avg 4h 20m. One thing to watch: fog offshore through about 10 AM. I'd push departure to 09:30. Want me to update the plan?"
Reads the forecast against your boat, your route, and your skill. Departure window, what to pack, what could change.
AIS traffic closing from your blind side. Wind backing 20° over the next hour. A shoaling tide near your planned turn.
Tracks engine hours, fuel burn, oil intervals, batteries. Surfaces what's due before it becomes a problem on the water.
HelmLink is our next step toward connecting Pathr directly with the boat. This future hardware bridge is designed to integrate with existing autopilot systems, turning Pathr from a smarter planning tool into a more connected onboard navigation experience.
A uniquely capable team, purpose-built to execute. We're not a big marine electronics company. We're boat owners building the tool we wish existed.
"Let Pathr handle the routing. Let your co-captain watch the details. You focus on boating."
